Mooncakes, Mid-Autumn, and One Big Family

As the autumn breeze carries the scent of osmanthus through our workshop, we gathered on the afternoon of 22 September to celebrate the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival — a day of reunion, gratitude, and the brightest full moon of the year.

Before the long weekend began, every member of our production team received a Mid-Autumn gift box: traditional mooncakes — sweet lotus-seed, salted egg yolk, and red bean — together with tea, seasonal fruit, and a handwritten note of thanks. The packing line paused for an hour; foremen, pattern makers, sewers, QC staff, and warehouse teams shared the same table, tasted the same mooncake, and compared notes on who had the largest yolk in theirs.

For many of our workers, this festival means a long journey home to family. The gift boxes were prepared with that in mind — a little something sweet to carry on the trip, and a reminder that the people who sew your leggings, stitch your bras, and pack your orders are seen, valued, and celebrated.

Behind every pair of squat-proof leggings and every soft brushed fabric is a person. Today we simply wanted to say thank you — to our team, and to you, our customers around the world, who make it all possible.
